Bratislava, Slovakia: 1 November 2016

| November 1st was a Tuesday, and a holiday in Austria and made for the perfect day trip to Bratislava. It is only an hour or so away from Vienna by train. Being only two days after our weekend in Amsterdam and Bruges, and two days before our weekend in Copenhagen and Malmö, we had a nice relaxing day just wandering around the old city center. |

| Though Bratislava is only an hour to the east of Vienna, it has a very different city thanks to the iron curtain following the second world war. There is a distinct feel to a city which was once under communist rule due to architecture, and infrastructure. |

| We ate at this little restaurant and had some traditional Slovakian food. |
