Germany Group Tour: Dresden & Freiberg

Dresden & Freiberg, Germany: 16-17 November 2016

Three days after returning from our Berlin, Zerbst trip, we boarded another coach bus with the rest of the students and set out on our last group trip for Germany and the Czech Republic. First stop was Dresden. I don't have a lot to say about Dresden, but that it is the most beautiful city that I have visited in Germany. We were able to capture some great photographs.
Dresden Main Train Station. Our Hotel was a 25 minute walk from the city center.

The Frauenkirche:

First on our list and our first stop was the Frauenkirche as it was in middle of the city. The Frauenkirche was destroyed, and rebuilt using as many of the original bricks as could be salvaged. The dark bricks are the old ones, and the light bricks are new.

 The Rest of Dresden:

Freiberg Temple:

One of our stops the morning of our second day in Dresden was the Freiberg Temple which was not far from Dresden. This is the temple that was build in East Germany during the DDR days.

From Dresden, it was off to Prague!
